A blog dedicated to examining real estate in The H Street Corridor.
who would possibly oppose the streetcars? they are the best thing to happen to h street
the whole program is an attempt to drive black middle class families out of h street
don't blame this on race kwame. the streetcar affects all residents of h street
The streetcar concept began In 2003, when then-Mayor Anthony A. Williams unveiled a draft Strategic Development Plan which proposed redeveloping and revitalizing six blighted areas of the city, including H Street NE and Benning Road.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DC_Streetcar#H_Street_NE.2FBenning_Road_Line
About time they get going!
DOT is so corrupt
and inefficient...
The woman representing the city is my neighbor and I know she spent a lot of time working on this project. Cut her some slack y'all!
local residents need to get used to progress ans stop complaining. we are trying to advance, not get left behind the rest of the city.
you're exactly right. which is why we must keep the city in check and not allow them to oppress us
