      The streetcar concept began In 2003, when then-Mayor Anthony A. Williams unveiled a draft Strategic Development Plan which proposed redeveloping and revitalizing six blighted areas of the city, including H Street NE and Benning Road.

  6. local residents need to get used to progress ans stop complaining. we are trying to advance, not get left behind the rest of the city.
